ಶ್ರೀನಗರ : ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರಿ ಪಂಡಿತ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ನೌಕರರೊಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಉಗ್ರನೊಬ್ಬ ಗುರುವಾರ ಹತ್ಯೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರಿ ಪಂಡಿತರು ವ್ಯಾಪಕ ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ಹೊರಹಾಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಜಮ್ಮು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರದ ಬುಡ್ಗಾಂ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಚದೂರ ತಹಶೀಲ್‌ ಕಚೇರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ 35 ವರ್ಷದ ರಾಹುಲ್‌ ಭಟ್‌ ಎಂಬುವವರನ್ನು ಉಗ್ರನೊಬ್ಬ ಗುಂಡಿಕ್ಕಿ ಹತ್ಯೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದ. ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರಿ ಪಂಡಿತ ಸಮುದಾಯದವರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿರುವ ವಿಶೇಷ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಪ್ಯಾಕೇಜ್‌ ನಡಿ ರಾಹುಲ್‌ ಭಟ್‌ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ್ದರು. ರಾಹುಲ್‌ ಭಟ್‌ ಹತ್ಯೆ ಬೆನ್ನಲ್ಲೇ ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರಿ ಪಂಡಿತರು ಶ್ರೀನಗರ, ಬುಡ್ಗಾಂ, ಅನಂತನಾಗ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಾರಾಮುಲ್ಲಾಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀದಿಗಿಳಿದು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನಾಕಾರರು ಪಂಡಿತ ಸಮುದಾಯದವರನ್ನು ಗುರಿಯಾಗಿಸಿ ಹತ್ಯೆಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವುದರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಘೋಷಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಮುದಾಯದವರನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಗಳು ವಿಫಲವಾಗಿವೆ. ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂಬುದು ಕೇವಲ ಗಿಮಿಕ್ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನಾಕಾರರನ್ನು ಚದುರಿಸಲು ಅಶ್ರುವಾಯು ಸಿಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ಲಘು ಲಾಠಿ ಪ್ರಹಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಜಮ್ಮು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರದ ಮಾಜಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಾದ ಮೆಹಬೂಬಾ ಮುಫ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಓಮರ್ ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರಿ ಪಂಡಿತರ ಪರ ಟ್ವೀಟ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Wanted to visit Budgam to express my solidarity with Kashmiri pandits protesting against GOIs failure to protect them. Have been put under house arrest as the fact that Kashmiri muslims & pandits empathise with each other’s pain doesn’t fit into their vicious communal narrative.

ಜಮ್ಮು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರ ಸಮನ್ವಯ ಫ್ರಂಟ್‌ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸಂದೀಪ್ ಮಾವಾ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ನಾವು ಹೋರಾಟ ನಡೆಸಲಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದಕರು ಯುದ್ಧ ಸಾರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮನ್ವಯದ ನೀತಿ ವಿಫಲವಾಗಿದೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಣಿವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಗ್ದ ಜನರ ಹತ್ಯೆ ಮಾಡುವವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲ ಜತೆಯಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಮುಸ್ಲಿಮ್, ಸಿಖ್‌ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರೆ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
